Why this piece is awesome: Gorgeous! Bold! Colors! The expressions are fantastic: Yan Wushi, devious; Shen Qiao, defiant. Also the silk texture on their robes is just wow. On top of all that, I love this piece because it captures the vibe of the ship so well, like Yan Wushi is the devil on Shen Qiao's shoulder.

Why this piece is awesome: This is a gorgeous profile portrait of Shen Qiao. The colors are muted and soft, his expression is tranquil and kind. There's a sense of gentle movement in the flow of his hair. I love this piece for how at peace it feels - it makes me happy, it makes me smile. With the suggestion of a breeze and the bamboo staff in his hand, there's the anticipation of setting out on a journey - which is true for when this art is set, at the beginning of the story!
