Why this piece is awesome: There's been an art challenge recently in due South to draw from screencaps at random times throughout episodes. These are from Diefenbaker's Day Off. I like the clean lines and the likenesses, and a shirtless Fraser is always good!

Why this art is awesome: I'm reccing Gjdraws this time, an artist new to due South who has taken to the fandom with huge enthusiasm and is producing lots of excellent art. Their style is cartoonish and often funny, with lots of energy. Gjdraws is working their way through the first part of the show currently, so is very taken with Fraser and Ray Vecchio. These are two great examples of their work.

Why this piece is awesome: An excellent fancomic in which Ray V is bravely trying to rescue a child from a burning building, trapped inside until Ben as SUPERMOUNTIE drops in to the rescue! Touching and hilarious.
(Note that there's just the one comic but it's displayed twice with an extra version visible as a mirror back-up, I guess in case one of the sites goes down.)

Why this piece is awesome: I'm a big fan of Dief and these are two lovely drawings of him. First, moping because Ray and Fraser are (ahem) otherwise occupied. But sometimes there's pizza and everything is all right! Excellent work, with an amusing accompanying ficlet.

Why this piece is awesome: I'm doing another round of due South fanart recs, collecting a few oldies and goodies, and some newer works. This first rec celebrates my exchange gift from wagnetic  in the recent due South secret Santa - and it's my best boy, Dief. I love his hilarious expression in this appliqué pic, and the very tasty-looking donuts. A perfect likeness of Dief, and the title's excellent, as well!
