Why this piece is awesome: I so admire anyone who's adept at watercolours, and this is a lovely piece, with a limited colour palette making it even more striking. Also interesting as the angel is loosely based on Cumberpatch who read the part in the BBC radio production recently. I like that it suggests him without being too exact. The use of white space is very effective as well.

Why this piece is awesome: A gorgeous piece of papercut art, using coloured and patterned papers to amazing effect. I love all the tiny details, like the ribbons and Door's fingerless gloves and spotted sock! And the Marquis is suitably dashing - it's very cleverly done and absolutely captures them both.

Why this piece is awesome: Oof - apologies for the gap in posting more Neverwhere fanart, but RL's been hammering me with deadlines. Will fit the rest in before the end of August, promise! This is a beautifully detailed layered woodcut of London Below. I love the intricacy and the design, and the more I look, the more details from the book I notice. Really amazing work - and of course, click to see it up close.

Why this piece is awesome: A couple of months of Neil Gaiman recs coming up. This month, Neverwhere. I love the amazing perspective of the two worlds separated by the pavement, and also the colours that emphasise the alternate worlds. A brilliant way of depicting both London Above and London Below, with Door just about to open a way through.
