The artist has a distinct style that I feel like is a mix of art nouveau and the art style seen in manga adaptations of classic novels. The background is beautifully detailed without taking too much focus off of the focus of the piece. The art has a gorgeously rich and warm color scheme that adds to the softness and domesticity of the moment being depicted. And of course, it's just cute.
